SURREY CITY COUNCIL

SPECIAL MEETING

MONDAY, MAY 7, 2007

The Public Hearing was held for the Zone Change request from Commercial to Residential and Variance request regarding the existing building from Wes and Jamie Soper on Outlot 34 of NW1/4 SW1/4 Section 19, T155N from Commercial to Residential.  Council held discussion with Wes and Jamie Soper about their plains.  Surrey’s Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval of the requests with a stipulation regarding culverts in the approaches.  Christianson has visited with City Engineer Alan Estvold regarding the culverts.  Estvold indicated culverts would not change drainage and recommends the culverts not be required.  No other comments or questions received, Klein made a motion to adjourn meeting.  Nelsen seconded.  All aye, meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
