Building Permits

Building Permits are required for any structural changes, decks, fences, garages, accessory buildings 120 square feet or larger, and driveways on city right of way. Building permit applications can be obtained at the City Auditor’s office. Please submit your application in advance of starting your project!! Once the application is submitted, the building inspector will review it within five days. Also, please give the inspector at least 24 hour notice before an inspection.
